RFID wristbands being applied at Google’s Creative Sandbox

Last week, IVS delivered an RFID activation for Google’s Creative Sandbox, an exclusive beach party hosted during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

Using wristbands supplied by our friends at ID&C, the RFID system helped to monitor and control access for over 1,400 VIPs during the five-day beach event.

The micro-chipped wristbands enabled organisers to identify the exact number of guests within the area at any one time – an essential requirement for the strict-capacity venue.

Beach-Ready Wearable Tech

As well as getting first-hand experience of the latest in wearable tech, Google’s guest list experienced zero queuing times thanks to the RFID system’s lightning fast speeds.

Creative agency Flourish were responsible for delivering the activation, which featured the latest innovations from Google and its partners, as well as a host of TED talks and a line-up of live music including performances from Emile Sandé and Goldierocks.
